Let’s hope you get to do a low pass!

I hope so too...
as long as they announce it in the cabin first.

I like to play with the GPS on my phone on flights. Particularly, I find it interesting to check takeoff speeds.

Is that an Embraer?

Yes, the American Eagle aircraft is an Embraer ERJ-145

I once flew through a stormfront in one of those things between Houston and Dallas. Any plane would have been choppy, but it was so rough that I accidentally tossed my cup of ice on the sleeping college student sitting next to me.
She woke up when we landed, wondering why she was wet and cold. I blamed the AC vent.

That damn AC vent. Hahaha
My best experience on an ERJ was a flight into Burlington, VT. Poor thing was getting tossed around like an empty beer can.
Best landing ever. It was freaking hilarious.

At some point, you just grab the arms of the chair and enjoy the roller coaster.
